QUINLAN, Pearse (Colonel, retired) of Woodlands, Naas, and formerly of Blennerville, Tralee (Died January 18, 2008) - On the occasion of his 92nd birthday, Pearse's wife Mary, sister Benvon (Ward), daughters Maeve, Mary and Francesca; sons Cian and Ronan; grandchildren, Brian, Eoin and Clare (Dublin), Neil (Kildare), Clare (Mayo), Clare, Fiona and Siobhán (Arizona), Liam and Ellie (New York), great-grandson Jessie, daughters-in-law Marian and Olive, sons-in-law John and Nick, brothers-in-law Dan Delaney and Tommy McNicholas and his many nieces and nephews sincerely thank all friends, neighbours and former Defences Forces colleagues who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Thank you to all who offered support and condolences, who sent cards, letters, wreaths and flowers or who shared in our loss at the removal, funeral Mass or interment - you were a wonderful help during a sad time. A special thanks to the priests of Naas parish and to Fr Swan and the NCOs from the Military College who participated in the funeral ceremonies. Thank you also to the caring staff at Naas hospital. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis".
