TROY Very Rev Canon Bertie (First Anniversary) (late of Midleton and Newtownshandrum, Co. Cork) (Died January 28, 2007) - The family of the late Canon Bertie wish to express our deep gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us in our recent sad loss. We thank all who travelled from near and far to attend the Rosary, removal, funeral Mass and burial; those who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy and floral tributes. We would like to sincerely thank Bishop Magee, Rev Dean Gould P.P. and all the priests and clergy of the diocese who concelebrated the funeral Mass. Those who participated in the funeral Mass, in particular the choir for the beautiful music, sacristan, altar servers and those who provided guards of honour, thank you. A special word of thanks to Hyde's Funeral Directors for their kindness and professionalism in their handling of the funeral arrangements.
