O'CALLAGHAN (Dermot) (Mount Merrion and Dromcollogher, Co Limerick, died August 29, 2006) - The family of the late Dermot O'Callaghan would like to express heartfelt thanks for all the kindness shown to us on the occasion of Dermot's death. We are deeply grateful to all who attended the funeral, who sent flowers, Mass Cards and letters of condolence. Thank you to Fr. Ambrose, Fr. De Blacam, Fr. Clarke and Fr. Sheehan M.S.C. for their support and kind words, and to Fr. Gallagher from Donnybrook who was a tower of strength to us all during those sad days. To all Dermot's relatives, some of whom came long distances to be with us; to the many members of his bridge clubs and his Friendship Club, and all the friends he had accumulated during his long eventful life, thank you. Thank you also to our own friends, who came in large numbers, and who were such a great help and support to us. How can we thank enough The Little Sisters of The Poor in Roebuck, whose kindness and care during his last few months was exceptional, and was so much appreciated. Lastly we must mention the members of Elm Park Golf Club, who enriched his life so much and who were represented in such large numbers to say goodbye. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we ask that this acknowledgement be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation.
