NIC GIOLLAPADRAIG, Niam (Drumcondra and late of Fitzpatrick's Bookshop, Cathedral Street, Dublin 1) - on April 23, 2010. Daughter of the late Diarmuid and Mide, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne in the loving care of Dr. Power and the staff of St. Mary's Hospital. Much loved sister of Nuala (Kernan), Dara and Diarmuid. Niam will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law John, her sisters-in-law Eileen and Frances; by her nieces, nephews and their partners: Cliona and Pat, Mella and Joe, Aedan and Erika, Dara and Michele, Brona and Kevin, Eoin and Carol, Conor and Carol, Cian, Roisin and Eric, Fidelma and Martin, Ciara and Michael, Deirdre and Yann and by her much loved twenty-one grandnieces and nephews and especially by her many friends in An Oige and Daonscoil Atha Cliath. Removal from The Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand today (Monday) to St. Columba's Church, Iona Road arriving at 5pm. Funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) after 9.30am Mass to Balgriffin Cemetery.

NIC GIOLLAPADRAIG, Niam (Droim Conrach), a fuair bas ar an 23u la d'Aibrean 2010 - As we remember Niam this day with love, her sister Nuala, brothers Diarmuid and Dara, niece Cliona, and all Niam's extended family wish to to thank most sincerely those who expressed their sympathy on the sad occasion of her death one year ago today. We would like to express our appreciation to her friends and neighbours who supported her and visited her during her illness. We would also like to thank the staff of both the Mater Private Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital, Phoenix Park, for the excellent quality of their care and for the love and kindness they showed to Niam during her time with them. Thanks are also due to those who attended Niam's funeral services and burial and who sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy. Finally, a very special word of thanks to Niam's life long friends in An Óige and Daonscoil Atha Cliath with whom she enjoyed many hill walks and wonderful holidays abroad and shared good and happy times. Mass will be offered for your intentions.
