WILLIAMS (Dublin) - February 24, 2006, Most Rev. Desmond, emeritus Auxiliary Bishop of Dublin, (suddenly) at Holy Family Residence, Roebuck; deeply regretted by his brother Kieran, his sisters-in-law Dina and Marie, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, Cardinal Desmond Connell, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, Bishops Eamonn Walsh, Fiachra O'Ceallaigh, Raymond Field and Dermot O'Mahony, the residents and community of Holy Family Residence and the priests and the entire family of the Archdiocese of Dublin. Prayers will be recited in Holy Family Roebuck today (Monday) at 3.45 o'clock, before transfer of remains to the Pro-Cathedral, Marlborough Street, for Solemn Requiem Mass which will be celebrated today at 5.45 o'clock Burial tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at Cruagh Cemetery, Rathfarnham. In lieu of flowers, donations to Little Sisters of the Poor, Holy Family Residence, Roebuck.
