O'DEA, Liam (Rathfarnham, Dublin 14) In the month of Liam's First Anniversary his wife Patricia, daughter Emma, son Alan and the O'Dea family wish to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to all those who sympathised and shared with us on our sad loss. We very much appreciate the comfort and support we received during Liam's illness and in the time since his passing from our family, friends, neighbours and Liam's work colleagues at OHM Group. Our thanks to all those who attended the removal and funeral. We would like to especially thank the priests of Terenure College, in particular Fr. Richard and Fr. Mícheál, Liam's friends who held an all night vigil for him and members of Terenure College R.F.C. whose support and kindness has been greatly appreciated. It is difficult to convey our heartfelt gratitude to those who cared for Liam with such love and support, especially Dr. Billy Twomey and Declan O'Sullivan. We would like to acknowledge and thank the oncology team at St. James Hospital for the care given in particular Prof John Reynolds and Dr. Ken O'Byrne. We have been genuinely touched by the many acts of kindness shown to us and particular thanks to those who took the time to write letters, send mass cards, phoned and visited. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who made donations to the Irish Cancer Society in Liam's name. Your support was and is a great source of strength and comfort to us all. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation and thanks to you all. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Liam's first anniversary mass will take place in Terenure College Church on Friday, March 7 at 6.30 o'clock''To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die''
