Rest in Peace My spiritual Father

As I celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi,I remember you Father Martin Kelly. I remember you leading us in ICOORA (procession) from Karinga - Christ the King Church to a near hill (Kagema). The timeI was growing up I didnt know there were african priests since i didnt know any other priest. You were in my rural parish for more twenty years. I remember serving mass under your guidance. You spiritually directed me as I joined order of St Augustine here in Kenya though i later left. The catholic faith u planted in my heart still echoes to many since i host a 3 hours catholic programme every Sunday in one of Kenya's Kikuyu FM radio station CORO FM. Father Martin REST IN PEACE. the fruits of your hard work in Karinga Parish, Gatundu, Archdiocese of Nairobi Kenya are still being enjoyed by Mother Church.

Martin Kamande, Producer/Presenter CORO FM KBC Kenya

My Teacher and Friend

I received the sad news of the passing of Fr. Martin Kelly from a former classmate in Kenya. Fr. Kelly was my headmaster in Ngenia School, Kenya. He was a great teacher, priest, and farmer. After I graduated from High School we continued with our friendship through letters and meeting occasionaly. I will forever remember him as a good friend. May the Lord rest his soul in eternal glory-Amen
