CROSS (Peggy) (Died July 14, 2005) - Deirdre Cross-Walsh and Vivienne Kelly would like to thank all of our family, friends and colleagues for their messages of support and sympathy over the death of our mother, and for the Mass Cards and donations made to St Francis Hospice, Raheny in her name (in lieu of funeral flowers). We would also like to thank the staff in Clareville Court, the Mater Hospital, St Francis Hospice and Dr Larry Bowles (G.P.). We are particularly appreciative to them for the care, attention and concern they showed Peggy, while at the same time respecting her desire to maintain her independence and her privacy. She defied the odds as she fought her long illness with dignity, courage and fortitude, sprinkled with own special brand of wry humour and wit. We know that she was very grateful for all the care and kindness that she received along the way and would be very pleased to have this acknowledgement made in her name.
