COYLE (James Pearse) (Lt. Col. Retd.) (Died February 8, 2009) - On the occasion of Jim's First Anniversary, his wife Peg, sons Barry and Brendan, daughters Margaret and Geraldine wish to express thanks and appreciation to family, friends, neighbours and clergy who supported us during the days of sorrow; to those who conveyed messages of sympathy, attended the funeral and sent floral tributes and Mass Cards. We would like to thank the medical and nursing staff of Mary Mercer's Ward, St James's Hospital for their excellent care and attention. Our thanks also to Jim's friends in Monkstown Football Club, the Military History Society of Ireland and the Defence Forces; especially the Bearer Party from the 5 Infantry Battalion who brought such dignity to the occasion. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions. He is sorely missed.
