Sligo) (died October 5, 2006) - Gerard's wife Violet, brothers Tom and Martin, sisters Cecilia, Agnes, Kathleen, Frances and extended family wish to express their deepest appreciation to everyone who sympathised with them on their sad loss. Thanks to all who attended his removal from his home, funeral Mass and burial, especially those who travelled long distances. To those who sent Mass cards, Perpetual Enrolments, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. A special word of thanks to the staff at James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, to the Clergy of Our Lady, Help of Christians Church, Navan Road, the Commissioner of An Gárda Síochana, serving and retired members of An Gárda Síochana, the retired members of An Gárda Síochana who were with Gerard at his sudden demise. R.I.P. To the friends and neighbours who gave so much of their time and help. Especially thanks to Michael Lange for his singing at the funeral Mass and also his accompanist. Also a special word of thanks to all who were at Gerard's Month's Mind. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
