O'DONNELL, Patrick Desmond (Des) (Birr and Castlegregory, formerly of AIB) - July 9, 2008, peacefully, in the presence of his family, and in the tender care of the staff of the Mater Private Hospital, much loved husband and best friend of Carmel (née Ryan), devoted father of Tom, Joy, Myles and Brendan, adored grandfather of Aidan, Desmond, Catherine, Niamh, Kate, Patrick, Michael, Megan, Eoin, Rachel, Clare and Lucy; sadly missed by his son-in-law Rory, daughters-in-law Patricia, Anne and Colette, brothers Brendan and Kevin, sisters-in-law Carol and Joanne, Paul, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home in Birr today (Thursday) from 4 p.m. with Rosary at 7.30 p.m. and at his home in Castlegregory tomorrow (Friday) from 5 o'clock with Rosary at 8 p.m. Requiem Mass at 11.30 o'clock on Saturday at St Mary's Church, Castlegregory.
