DEMPSEY (Nancy) (Anne) (née Smyth) (Late of Durham Road, Sandymount, Dublin 4, and Blackwater, Co Wexford) - Nancy went to join her beloved husband Kevin on January 11, 2007. Her children, Catherine (Blay) and Kevin would like to thank the very many family and friends who showed such kindness and support during Nancy's final days and following her death. We are deeply grateful to all those who attended her removal and funeral, especially those who travelled long distances, sent flowers, Mass Cards or messages of sympathy, who sympathised with us, or simply remembered her in their own private thoughts and prayers. In particular we would like to thank the Management and Staff of Cairnhill Nursing Home who cared for her so well over the last 2½ years, Dr Alan Watson and his colleagues in the Nephrology and Dialysis Units at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Ursula Bates and the Palliative Care team in Blackrock Hospice who did so much to help Nancy in her final weeks, Dr. Sean Levy and his team in Waterford General Hospital who did so much for Mum following her accident in 2004, Fr. Peter Finnerty P.P. who celebrated Mum's Funeral Mass so beautifully, concelebrants Fr. John Galvin, Fr. Seamus Galvin, Fr. Michael Duggan, Fr. Tony Little, Fr. Kevin Browne, and Fr. Philip Crowe, Fr Peter Briscoe P.P. and his colleagues at the Parish of Our Lady, Star of Sea, Sandymount and Brendan and Gerry Dempsey who sang so wonderfully at Nancy's Mass at her request. It would not be possible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere token of our appreciation. Nancy's Month's Mind Mass will take place at Our Lady, Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount at 6 o'clock on Saturday March 10, 2007.
