KEYES (Christy) (Castleconnell, Co. Limerick) (died March 14, 2006) - As we approach Christy's Anniversary, his wife and family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their sad loss. To all those who called to the house, relatives, friends and neighbours, those who travelled long distances, attended the removal, Mass and funeral, sent Mass Cards, floral tributes and letters of sympathy, our sincere thanks. Our very sincere gratitude to Fr. D. O'Dwyer, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick who concelebrated Mass with Monsignor D. Neenan and Fr. S. Harmon, Monaleen. Many thanks also to the singers for their beautiful music, to the Mayor of Limerick and the councillors for their attendance, and to Mr. F. Prendergast for his inspiring Eulogy. To members of the Oireachtas, Limerick County Council, his colleagues in the Labour Party, particularly his lifelong friend, Mr. John Hourigan, our grateful appreciation. To the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes School, Catherine McCauley School and Care of the Aged, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick, our sincere thanks. To members of the University of Limerick, Castleconnell, I.C.A. and Active Retirement Ireland and particularly Monaleen/Milford A.R., our grateful appreciation. To John Thompson and Sons Undertakers who attended to all the details of the arrangements in a professional and caring manner, our sincere thanks. Our very grateful thanks to the Administrator and staff of Roseville House Nursing Home who cared for Christy with gentleness and kindness during his long illness. As it is impossible to thank people individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted in appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. The Anniversary Mass for Christy will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 11.30 o'clock in St. Joseph's Church, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick.
