BRENNAN (Mona-Rose, aged 34 years), (Frankfield, Cork and Thurles, Co. Tipperary), daughter of the late Fintan Brennan. At this time, the First Anniversary of Mona-Rose's death, Alice, Denise, Stephanie and James would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us; those who attended the funeral; those who sent mass cards and letters of sympathy and made consoling telephone calls. Thanks to the people who were a constant support to us and to Mona-Rose during her illness. To the many nuns from the different Orders, for their daily prayers, thank you. Thank you to fathers Joe Walsh, Gortnahoe, and John Walsh, Frankfield and to Canon Finbarr Kelleher for concelebrating the funeral Mass. Thanks to Claire Cronin, ClĂodhna McEnry and Hans Pieper for providing music. Thank you to all who took part in the liturgy, for making our farewell to Mona what she wished it to be. We were very moved by the support of Mona's friends and colleagues (from the RLS and legal firms where she formerly worked) and by the presence of our friends and relatives who travelled to celebrate her life with us. Mona-Rose had wonderful care during her illness. To Dr. Brown and the staff of Burkitt's Ward and the day ward, St James's Hospital, thank you. To Dr. Cahill and the staff of the day ward and ward 2D, C.U.H, Mona could have had no better care, and we will never forget you. Thanks too to "The Friends of 2D" and the car park staff at C.U.H. Thank you to Dr. Eileen O'Herlihy, an outstanding GP. To Dr. O'Brien, for his gentle care of Mona in her last days, thank you. Thank you to the staff of Marymount. Thank you also to Jerh O'Connor Funeral Directors for their professionalism and respect. Thanks to the Caretaker in St. John's graveyard, Ballinrea for his understanding and help. To the staff of O'Sullivan's pharmacy, Grange, thank you for providing such a great service to Mona-Rose, who valued her independence so much. To Mona's associates in the writers, painting and choral groups, for your friendship to her, thanks. Due to the enormous amount of correspondence we received, we cannot acknowledge you all personally. We hope this acknowledgement will suffice. A special Mass has been offered for all of you. We miss Mona-Rose and remember her in the small things every day.
