WHITNEY (Cork and late of Cavan and Roscommon) - July 9, 2008, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the sisters and staff of Marymount Hospice, Padraig (late Department of Agriculture), Shrewsbury Downs, Ballinlough, dearly beloved husband and best friend of Eleanor (née Moran) and loving father of Niall, Gillian, Dorcas, Garrett and Susan; sadly missed by his loving wife, family, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren Alex, Jenna, Hannah and Connor, relatives and friends. Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh O'Connor Ltd. Removal on this (Thursday) evening at 7 o'clock to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballinlough. Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock tomorrow (Friday). Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Blackrock. Mass will be celebrated in his native Co.
