HUGHES (Edward, Ned) (Carpenterstown, Castleknock) - Ned's wife Betty, his children Karen and Eddie, together with his mother Sarah, grandchildren and extended family, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us following our recent sad loss. Those who called to the house, attended the removal and funeral service, sent Mass Cards, floral tributes and messages of sympathy; to our neighbours and wonderful friends who we realise have been deeply affected by Ned's sudden passing, we are very grateful for your friendship and support. To his many business colleagues and in particular to the Staff of Emerald Fashions for their continuous loyalty; to the doctors and nursing staff in St Joseph's Ward, Bon Secours Hospital for the care and kindness they showed Ned during his brief visit. Sincere thanks to Fr O'Shea and Fr O'Connor of Castleknock Parish and all those who participated in the service. A special word of thanks also, to Cunningham Funeral Directors for their professionalism and compassion and who made the difficult task of funeral arrangements as painless as possible. Finally to Ned, for your love and devotion to us throughout your life, thank you. "Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann"
Ned's Months Mind Mass will take place at The Church of Our Lady, Mother of the Church, Castleknock, tomorrow (Friday, April 28) at 7.30 o'clock
