Sincere Sympathy

I was shocked to learn today from Gabriel Toolan (Ballinamore) of Michael's death.

Although I think I only met Michael once (at one of the Archbishop's functions many years ago), I often heard my Dad (Liam O'Tuathalain) speak of him. I was also struck by the remarkable likeness between my Dad and Michael which is evident from the photo on the Irish Times notice.

Condolences to all of the family - Gabriel and I have been speaking about organising a Toolan reunion so, hopefully, my branch of the family may soon meet yours.

Brian Toolan
