BUTLER (Thomas Patrick) (Sandymount) - We, Muriel, wife of Tom, his sons Patrick and Paul, his daughters Aideen, Carol and Mary, his brother Paddy and extended family are deeply grateful for the support and sympathy shown to us on Tom's death. We greatly appreciate the tribute paid to him by the presence of so many at the removal and funeral, the fact that some travelled to be with us, the many Mass cards, letters of sympathy, telephone messages and visits to the family. We acknowledge the representation of friends in Deloitte and colleagues from earlier days, the beautiful singing of the Cooper family, the participation of the local clergy at the Church, also Fr Martin Clarke, P.P. Monkstown and Fr Brady, St Michaels and particularly the way Fr Little, St Michael's conducted the ceremony and his attendance at the graveside. We also wish to thank the nurses of St Vincent's Private Hospital for their great care of Tom and for the understanding and sympathy shown to us in his final days. If we have not been able to contact everyone personally, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
