TURNER, Desmond (RUA) (formerly of Belfast and Curraglass, Co. Cork and lately of Kirkby Lonsdale), died peacefully on March 13, 2011, aged 87 years, at The Abbey, Staveley. Beloved husband of Doreen for 58 years, very dear father of Patricia and Michael, brother of Brian, and much loved grandfather to Tilly and Alice. Funeral Service will take place at St Mary's Church, Kirkby Lonsdale on Monday March 21 at 2 p.m. Family flowers only please but donations if desired to RSPB or The British Legion.
