Speck

Sincere sympathy to the Carter family on the loss of Speck ( as we called her). It is many years since we had met as I now live in Australia but Speck was such an integral part of Margaretholme for so many years and was much loved by the residents. It was a complex way ahead of its time in caring for the elderly. She was also my younger sister's godmother and my first memory is of her coming to her christening in Kilkenny ( early 1960's) and bringing the rest of us children very colourful Peter Rabbit cereal dishes which at the time was a huge novelty!

Regards

Heather Wellwood, Port Macquarie, NSW 2444
