Polite was her word

I was somehow seized by nostalgia, I was looking for my Irish house, the one I lived in during Summer 2004, when it suddenly came out from Street View, on Google Maps. Sweet and fresh exactly as I remembered. Under a silver sky, surrounded by the green, I virtually walked around it, like i did at that time, reaching Dart Station. Home is where the heart is, some say, and that definitely is a place I can call Home. So i looked for Susan too, it would have been nice to know something about her, to find some news; I found this, and it's been a sort of heartache. Though I only spent two weeks there, I can really think of Susan in the way of an Irish mother, just like Cristina Dominguez wrote. She was always kind, and positive; I can still remember how she worried, one night, because I was late, but right then she turned in a smile, cooking some tea for me and my friend. She improved my English, she taught me how to do some housework, and, somehow, she contributed to make me grow up. Throughout thoes days, I realized every Irish person has its own way to be fully Irish, and I found that Irishness in her politeness, and in her sobriety. Goodbye Susan, I missed you already, now I do even more.
