NORTON (William F.) (Bill) (Ennis Road, Limerick) - On Bill's 76th Birthday, his wife Josephine, daughter Jaqueline, and Jaqueline's family, Martin, Tim, and Christopher, would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them following the loss of their beloved Bill on August 16, 2007. We would particularly like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who looked after and took such wonderful care of Bill, when he was ill, Dr Michael Shinkwin, Nurse Margaret Ryan, Jennifer McCarthy and Richard Carthy. At the Mid West Regional Hospital, we would like to thank Dr Clinch, Dr Kavanagh, the H.D.U. staff, Sr. Browne and staff of Ward 1D. Your professionalism and exceptional care given to Bill will always be remembered. To all our extended families (in particular, Margaret and Maurice Power), neighbours, friends, work colleagues (in particular, Morgan and Mary McMahon and staff of Aimees), and Bill's great friend, Jack Fitzgerald, we thank you all for supporting us during such a difficult time. Sincere thanks to those who travelled to be with us, telephoned, called to the house, brought food and flowers, sent letters, Mass Cards, perpetual enrolments, floral tributes, and sympathy cards. To the Clergy of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, particularly Fr. William Walsh, to our dear friend, Canon Seamus Mullin and to Fr. Seamus Power, we thank you for concelebrating the funeral Mass and giving us strength, solace, and comfort, during the days following Bill's death. We would also like to thank John Thompson, Funeral Director, and his staff, and Frank Murphy of the Island Crematorium for being so sensitive and supportive. Continued thanks to Josephine's loyal neighbours and friends who have been with her during the dark days. Thanks to Jaqueline and Martin's friends who have been so good and so supportive. Most of all, we want to thank all those who evoked so many wonderful memories of Bill and made us laugh. We are forever grateful to you. Mass will be offered for all your intentions as an expression of our continued gratitude.Sleep peacefully, Bill. You deserve it.
We dearly loved you.
