O'DONOVAN (Ronan) - Ronan's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation to all who sympathised and supported them through their sad loss, to the many people who called to the house and attended the removal and funeral. Thank you for the phone calls, Mass cards, letters and cards of sympathy, the beautiful flowers and generous donations to the Irish cancer society. We offer our sincere thanks to Fr Denis Harrington, Fr Paul O'Boyle and Fr Paul Dempsey who officiated at the funeral masses and spoke so warmly about Ronan. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses of St Vincent's Hospital Dublin who cared for Ronan during his illness, in particular St Anne's ward and the Oncology team. Thank you to the staff of Clane General hospital who allowed Ronan to spend precious time with his family in his final weeks. Thanks to the palliative care nurses in Newbridge in particular Anne Marie. Thank you to all the individuals for providing the guard of honour and the Clane GAA for their outstanding support during Ronan's funeral. Also thank you to the members of the Garda Síochána from Naas and Clane under Sgt John Nolan. Thank you to our exceptional friends and neighbours for their help and support to us during Ronan's illness and since his death. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude Mass will be offered for all your intentions."Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir"
