HEERAN Irene (Late of Eastham Road, Bettystown), died March 8, 2008. - On this day, the second anniversary of Mum's beloved husband, Colm, the family would like to express appreciation and gratitude to all who assisted Mum through her final weeks and who sympathised with us on her death. We're grateful for the many good wishes, calls, visits and cards while Mum was in the excellent care of the staff on St Luke's Ward in St. Vincent's Hospital. A special thanks to Mr. Richard's for his great care. To the staff of Leeson Park House nursing home who provided Mum with comfort and dignity in her final days. While reposing at home, we had the privilege of meeting again with many of Mum's neighbours and friends from all parts of the country. We're grateful to her church and choir colleagues who provided such a worthy tribute to her musical talent, and to all who participated in her funeral Service. We acknowledge the many cards and letters of sympathy which we have received. We want to acknowledge our gratitude to Fr. Brendan Heeran CSSP, for all his on-going spiritual support during Mum's final weeks and during the years following the tragic loss of Raymond and Celine and during Dad's recent passing. Also, the help and support from Clair and Dad's brothers and sisters and especially the monastery community of St. Catherine of Siena, whose expressions of faith and hope are a continuing source of comfort. In the words of St. Therese, for whom Mum had a lifelong devotion, "Love is all that really counts".
