McATEER (Ken) (Kenny) (Howth Road, Raheny and Warrenpoint) (Died November 23, 2004) - Kenny's family Grace and Mark, his brothers Killian and Brian, together with their families, wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us, consoled and supported us in so many ways at the time of Kenny's sudden death and who continue to do so. Whatever you did in remembrance of Kenny and to comfort us, we thank you. Every gesture was greatly appreciated. A very special thank you to the many members of our families, relatives, friends, neighbours, colleagues in Dublin City Council (particularly in the Welfare Section): all of whom looked after us both practically and emotionally. Our thanks also to colleagues in Citigroup Dublin and London. A word of appreciation to Fr Michael Simpson and Fr Dermot Leycock, St Brigid's Parish, Killester; to Anne White who sang at Kenny's funeral Mass; to Dr Hugh McCann and the Cardiology Team at the Mater Private Hospital whose care of Kenny over a number of years helped to improve his quality of life; to the emergency services, the staff of A&E, and Prof. David Foley at Beaumont Hospital. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as our expression of gratitude and appreciation. Mass will be offered at 9 o'clock on Sunday morning, May 15 in St Brigid's Church, Killester in memory of Kenny and for your intentions.
