BROOKS (Walter Frederick) - July 7, 2006, at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Carlow, in his 96th year, dearly loved husband of Betty (née Cope), greatly missed by his daughter-in-law Frances and grandsons Jeremy, Luke and Ashley, and by his sister Lilly, relatives and many friends. Predeceased by his beloved only son Maurice, his sisters Louise (Hodginson) and Pat (Adams), and his brothers Charlie and Alfie. Removal from Sacred Heart Home, Carlow at 2.30 o'clock on Monday, July 10, for funeral Service at St James's Church, Castledermot (3 o'clock) followed by interment in Coltstown Cemetery.
