WHELAN, Eithne (Assisi House, formerly Ferguson Road, Drumcondra) - December 29, 2009, at the Mater Hospital (peacefully) after a short illness, beloved aunt and godmother of (Professor) Ruth Whelan; mourned by her cousin Paddy Mitchell, her nieces and nephews in Australia, Canada and England, the sisters and staff of Assisi House, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass today (Tuesday) 10 o'clock at Corpus Christi Church, Homefarm Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 with burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Tullow, Co. Carlow arriving at 12.30 o'clock approx."Nunc dimittis servum tuum Domine".
