DOWLEY (David) (Birr and Dundalk) (Died February 12, 2006) - David's wife Clodagh, daughter Aisling, son Shane, sisters Una and Aideen and brother Mark, together with their families wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and offered their support during our sad loss; to relatives, neighbours, friends and the Birr Lions Club and all who attended the removal and funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to Fr Conor Harper, S.J. for attending David in hospital, being present at his removal, celebrating his funeral Mass and laying to rest and to Rev. Tony Cahir P.P. for his help in every way. To the wonderful nurses, staff and paramedics in the O'Malley Unit at Galway Clinic who cared so tenderly for David during his final illness and Dr Maeve Pomeroy, Consultant Radiation Oncologist and her team, Drs. John and Denise O'Hare, Birr and Donal J. Boyd, Funeral Director for their thoughtfulness and professionalism. To the many friends who sent Mass bouquets, letters of condolences and donations to Cancer Research, whose kindness will never be forgotten. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions and we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude.
