CONNOLLY, Mary (née Meehan) (Newcastle, Co. Down and formerly of Latlurcan, Monagan, Co. Monaghan) - August 11, 2008, at Downe Hospital, Downpatrick, Co. Down, peacefully, after a short illness, in the presence of her loving family. Devoted wife to her beloved husband Jim, loving and inspired mother to daughter Joanna, son Oliver, daughter-in-law Katie and son-in-law Niall, supportive sister to her brother Francis and the late Michael and his late wife Veronica, loving aunt to nephews Martin, Michael and niece Majella, cherished grandmother to her grandchildren Gary, Seaghna, Aoibheanna and Oliver Jnr; sadly missed by her loving sisters-in-law Betty, Mary (SSL), Ita and Ena, her brothers-in-law Brendan, Phelim and Tim, her other relatives and her many friends. Reposing at her home until removal on Wednesday to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle, Co. Down for reception prayers at 7.15 o'clock Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11.30 o'clock at the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle, followed by burial at Bryansford Cemetery, adjoining St Patrick's Church, Bryansford, Co. Down.To know her was to be loved by her and to love her. To a great wife and a great mother who has now gone to the God she loved and adored.
May she rest in peace".
