A special word of thanks to his great friend Dan Shanahan for his kind words about Tom. We thank Dr Emer Fahy and the medical and nursing staff of St Colmcille's and St Vincent's Hospitals for all their care of Tom and the family. We thank Carnegie's Undertakers for the funeral arrangements. We especially thank our neighbours in Monaloe who supported Moira and the family in their sad loss at the time and throughout the last year and the many others who helped at the time and subsequently.
