HEAVEY (Betty) (Athlone) (died May 29, 2006) - Betty's partner Ted, daughters Lynda, Mary and Sandra and her extended family would like to thank sincerely those who sympathised with us on the sad death of our beloved Betty. To all those who called to the house, sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, texts, flowers, telephoned and those who made donations to the Irish Cancer Society, we thank you. We extend our deep appreciation to Mum's wonderful neighbours, the grave diggers, all those who attended the funeral Mass and burial, in particular those who travelled long distances. A special thank you to Fr John Cullen for his funeral Mass and to the staff of our Lady of Mercy Ward, Mater Private, for their outstanding care and dedication. To Betty's grandchildren Tom and Cathal for all the happiness, love and joy they gave to their Nana. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation to all.
