WHITTLE (Edward Gordon) - February 19, 2006, aged 87 (peacefully), after a short illness, in Stepping Hill Hospital, and of Curzon Green, Offerton, Stockport, England, formerly of Ranelagh and Wilsons Hospital School, Co. Westmeath, pre-deceased by dearly beloved wife, Bertha, much loved father of Victor and John, dear father-in-law of Lynne and Elizabeth and devoted grandfather to David, Ian, Neil and Edward; sadly missed by family and friends in England and in Dublin, Wicklow, Bonnygappa, Castlecomer, Lisburn and Lisnakea, Ireland. Service to be held at the Stockport (Cypress) Crematorium, at 12 o'clock on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 and later at the Alma Lodge. Family flowers only, please.
