GOODWIN, William (Longlac, Sallins, Co. Kildare, August 4th, 2009)- Doris would like to express her sincere thanks to all who sympathised with her in her great loss. Thank you to the Ambulance Team, the K Docand the staff at Naas General Hospital who were so kind to us and to Dick Persse and Family for their help and kindness. A Special thank you to Mr. John Hillis and Bishop Roy Warke who conducted the Funeral Service, to Jennifer who played the organ, to the huge congregation who travelled from all parts of Ireland, including my niece Shirley and her family from England. Thank you to Dr. Matthew Fay and his staff and the doctors and nurses in St. James's Hospital for their kindness to Willie over many years. Thank you to all my neighbours, relations and friends who visited, attended the funeral, sent letters, Mass Cards, cards and beautiful flowers, and to all who gave donations at the Church - these have now been forwarded to the Friends of Naas Hospital and the National Council for the Blind. Thank you also to the Killian Family and staff at Millicent Golf Club who provided refreshments after the funeral service. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, I trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with my sincere appreciation. Thank you all.
