From across the way...

Elizabeth and family,

Mary Pappas told us what happened. We are deeply shocked and saddened - and so sorry for your loss. I wish I could write something eloquent, but I have no talent for that. I always thought that I would return to Ireland with my family and see you all again, it never occurred to me that that might not happen.

You will be in our thoughts and prayers that you are able to find some peace in the days ahead.

Love,

Mary (Primer) Gutierrez and family - Cesar, Kaya, and Santiago (just born 1 March 2010)

Remember

Dear Linda, I was truly sorry to hear about your Dad's death. I am sending you a poem which I find comforting and hope you may find some comfort from it also. My thoughts are with you at this time and in the coming weeks and months. Elaine

REMEMBER me when I am gone away, Gone far away into the silent land; When you can no more hold me by the hand, Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay. Remember me when no more day by day You tell me of our future that you plann'd: Only remember me; you understand It will be late to counsel then or pray. Yet if you should forget me for a while And afterwards remember, do not grieve:For if the darkness and corruption leave A vestige of the thoughts that once I had, Better by far you should forget and smile Than that you should remember and be sad

Christina Rossetti
