McGUIRE, James (Carrick Road, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim) (May 25, 2007) - The family of the Late James McGuire wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on the death of James. We would like to acknowledge all those who travelled to be with the family at this sad time, those who called to the house, attended the removal of the remains, the funeral mass and the burial. A special thanks to Fr. Burke, Fr. McNulty, Fr. Tynan, Fr. Flynn and Fr. Garvey for their thoughtful and respectful concelebrations of James' removal and funeral Mass. We are very grateful to the choir for providing the beautiful music and singing. To the Church sacristan, Sr. Helen Keegan, undertaker Micky Moran, the Allen Gaels Guard of Honour and the grave diggers whose professionalism and respectfulness were greatly appreciated. To Dr. Kieran Greene for his many years of medical assistance and to public health nurse Toni Moore, for her professional help and advice. Also to Sligo General hospital for the care they provided. The daily kindness, care and attention that Bill Booley and Helen Gibbons showed to James over his last three years will not be forgotten. To James's close friends whose visits, time and support always brought a smile to his face!! Thanks to all his relatives, neighbours and friends who assisted in so many ways. To all those who donated to the Poor Clare Convent Drumshanbo, those who sent Mass cards, enrolment certificates and floral wreaths. Finally, as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our appreciation to all who helped us at this time. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
