BEHAN, Terry (Tierhogar House, Portarlington, Co. Laois) - Today, April 29, the first anniversary of the death of my husband, Terry, I would like to thank most sincerely all those who, in so many different ways, expressed their sympathy on my loss. Terry's family and I were greatly comforted by the huge numbers who attended the funeral Mass and I wish to remember in particular those who travelled long distances. Thanks are due to the many friends and neighbours who called to the house and to those who sent cards and letters. Particular thanks are due to Fr. Tom O'Byrne for his generous help and guidance. I thank the other priests who joined us for the funeral Mass. Special thanks are due to Marion Greene and Karen Plewman who provided the music at the liturgy and also to the members of O'Dempsey's G.A.A. Club who formed a guard of honour. I am very grateful to Mahers' Undertakers for their assistance in Terry's funeral arrangements. As it is not possible to thank everybody personally, my wish is that this acknowledgement offers my true appreciation of all that was done. I have requested that a Mass will be celebrated for your intentions.
