SHAW - The family of the late Teresa (Tess) Shaw wish to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. This includes all those who attended both the removal and the funeral, as well as those who sent Mass Cards, letters and sympathy cards and other expressions of support. We were so grateful to receive them and they have been a great source of comfort to the family. Our thanks also to Fr Peter Briscoe, Star of the Sea, Sandymount, who received the remains and Fr Paddy Moran who celebrated the funeral Mass. A particular thanks to Alan Grundy for his exquisite guitar playing during the funeral. Mum would have approved. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be a sufficient gesture of our appreciation. A special Mass for Tess and for all your intentions will be celebrated on Sunday evening, April 17 at 7 o'clock in the Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, Dublin 4.
