MURPHY Anna (née Connolly) Cork and Dromore West, Co. Sligo - September 12, 2011 in the exceptional care of the staff in St. Camillus' ward, St. Patrick's Hospital, beloved wife of the late P.A. (Weesh) dearly loved mother of Con, Eileen, Catherine, Marie and the late Anne. She will be sadly missed by her children, her daughter-in-law, Joan, her sons-in-law, Aongus, Martin and Domhnall, her treasured grandchildren, great-grandchild, her extended family and her many friends. Reception prayers in the Church of the Decent of the holy Spirit, Dennehy's Cross tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (September 15) at 1pm followed by burial in St. Finbarr's Cemetery. Family flowers only.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis

<p>Deepest sympathy</p> <p>Please accept my sincere sympathy on the death of your dear mother Anna Murphy. Anna was a well loved member of the Library staff in UCC when I worked there in the 1970s and 1980s. She was a wonderful lady and after I left Cork I would call to see her from time to time. Unfortunately I have not been in Cork very much in recent years, and so we lost touch. It was only when I spoke to someone from UCC Library today that I learned the sad news of your great loss.</p> <p>Beatrice Doran</p>
