STANLEY, Father Pat (Lucan and Woodford, Co Galway) - The Stanley family wish to express their deep appreciation and sincere gratitude to all who attended Fr. Pat's removal and funeral Masses, and to the many who sent Mass cards and kind letters of sympathy. Our special thanks to Fr. Tony Reilly, Esker, Fr Kieran O'Rourke, Wood ford, Bishop John Kirby, Clonfert and to the priests, sisters. neighbours and friends in Lucan, Dublin, Woodford and Clonfert. We thank also the consultants: Prof Curran, St. Vincent's hospital and Prof Michael Walsh and Dr McConn-Walsh in Beaumont, Dr Salib in St Luke's and the doctors and nurses and staff in St. Vincent's, Beaumont and especially St Luke's hospitals for their dedication and loving care. After a lifetime of generous priestly service, Fr. Pat has gone home to God to enjoy his heavenly reward. Now, all his friends in Ireland and Australia have an advocate in heaven. A Novena of Masses has been offered for all who cared for him and for his many wonderful friends.
