Terence Doyle

My deepest sympathy to Dee, family, Benny & Marty. I have great memories of Terry from our early school days and always looked forward to meeting him when at home in Ireland in later years.R.I.P.

This eulogy is by Merah, writer from Sepang, Malaysia:

To The Faithful Departed

Mourn not his demise but rejoice in his spirit;

So full of life it’s almost as if he’s never gone away...

That beside us he’ll stay.

Grieve not for the loss but revel in his vision

So much insight it’s just as well that we carry on...

Where he’s left off.

Cry not for the deeds left undone but exult in his inspiration,

So much hope it’s just as if the parting never happens

And the vision grows stronger.

Lament not the words left unsaid but solemnise his aspiration;

So much potential it’s just as if the body has passed on

But the soul, the essence and the dreams still linger

For the rest of us (still here) to ponder and unfold.
