McCRANN Paddy, Castletroy, Co. Limerick, May 11, 2009 - As the first anniversary of Paddy's death approaches, his wife, Sandra, children, Brian, Niamh and Darragh together with his sisters Catherine, Sheila and Lucy and his extended family would like to thank all those who supported and consoled them following their sad and tragic loss. We are most appreciative to all those who paid tribute to him by their attendance at his wake and funeral Mass, particularly those who travelled long distances; sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes and those who called to the house and provided much needed support at such a difficult time. To our relatives, friends and neighbours your acts of kindness and practical assistance will always be remembered. A special thank you to Monsignor Dan Neenan P.P. of Monaleen for the accurate reflection, at the funeral Mass, of the wonderful husband, father and brother that we loved so much. To Fr. Michael O'Shea, CC of Monaleen and Fr. John Campion, PP of Milford Church for their contribution in making the Mass so special. Special thanks to Olive O'Brien, Margaret Buckley, Bernadette Kiely, Maria O'Brien and Aine Heslin for the beautiful singing and music provided at the funeral Mass. We will be forever grateful to Liam Ryan of Castleconnell for his unforgettable act of kindness on such a sad day. The family wish to express their gratitude to the emergency services for their sensitivity and professionalism and to the Garda Siochana of Castleconnell for the support, kindness and compassion they showed at the time of Paddy's death and afterwards. Sincere gratitude to our wonderful friends who continue to support us during this very difficult time and for sharing such wonderful memories and photographs with us. To Micheál Morrissey and the staff of Morrissey McCrann and Co., your friendship and assistance is greatly appreciated. To John Thompson and staff of Christopher Thompson Funeral Undertakers, your professionalism, kindness and practical support will always be remembered. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
