DOYLE, Col. E.D. Retd. (Ned) (Clondalkin) (died 25 May 2009) - His sons and daughters - Ciaran, Patricia, Etain, Brendan, Geraldine and Martin and their families wish to thank his neighbours and friends and everyone who offered sympathy and support during their recent bereavement. We wish to thank Fr. Wall, Parish Priest of the Church of Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin, and Fr. Swan and Fr. Tyndall, Army Chaplains, who officiated at the removal and funeral services. We wish to thank the Defence Forces, the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Dermot Earley, the Director, Col. Con Ryan and Lt. Col. Peter Halloran of the Communication and Information Services Corps for the provision of the bearer party, their kindness and practical support. We wish to thank Comdt. Pauline Connell and the staff of McKee Officers' Mess. We also wish to record our deep appreciation of Mrs Monica Byrne, his neighbours, the staff of Harolds Cross Hospice, the Mater Hospital and the Health Clinic in Clondalkin.
