BARTON (Arthur Henry, O.B.E., R.N., playwright, author and broadcaster, the inventor of the BBC Radio character Mr. Mooney) - Friday, December 8, 2006, (peacefully in his sleep), at the age of 90, after an eleven year battle with Parkinson's disease, Harry Barton, whose wife Marjorie died in 1997, was the son of Arthur William Barton, Archbishop of Dublin, and Zoe Dorothy Victoria Cosgrave of Howth. He is survived by his sister Barbara Lane, of Ballymaglin, his two sons Charles, married to Ruzi, and Anthony, married to Winda, and his six grandchildren Roy, Jan, Oro, Suzanne, Sophia and Farah.
