SCANLON (Patsy) (Ballygar and Galway) - Sheena, Marie-Suzanne, John, Brian and family would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss of Patsy (died January 5, 2005). Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards or flowers, wrote letters, or telephoned us, visited the funeral home, attended Patsy's removal service and funeral Mass, or stood with us in the rain at Patsy's graveside on that cold first Friday of 2005. Thank you also to Michael and Noelle Hayden and the staff of the Monastery Nursing Home, Corrandulla, who took such good care of Patsy during his last illness. A special thank you to all who, over the two days of the funeral and since, have shared with us their personal stories about Patsy, many of which go back decades to childhood times in Ballygar. If there was one thing Patsy loved it was a good story, and we are very happy that his memory will continue to live on in this way. May you continue to remember him and may his gentle soul rest in peace and joy. Mass has been offered for your intentions.
