WADE Mary

WADE Mary (nee O'Kelly) (Grange Con, Co. Wicklow) died November 6, 2009. On the Anniversary of her death, her son and close family would like to thank those who expressed their condolences, and especially those who made her last years comfortable in any way, big or small: you watched her from near and far; you minded her when frailty took her strength; you listened to her when sickness stole her mind; you visited her when there was no reward but the act itself; you cared for her in hospital when life was ebbing away; you stood by her and gave testimony to her life in a church that reunited her with a loving husband; you formed a guard of honour to her final resting place; you sent Mass Cards and notes of sympathy, fondness and memories. Your generous donations to the Alzheimer Society will help to fight the battle for those who have not yet succumbed. We thank you for your kindness and your love, but most of all, we thank you for the dignity you gave her towards the end, when illness tried (and failed) to diminish her from what she was - a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbour, and friend. We hope you all know just how much your wonderful actions meant.
