HEFFERNAN Noel (Lieut. Col) (Rathfarnham, Dublin and Letterfrack, Co. Galway, died April 11, 2009) - On this, the First Anniversary of Noel's death, his wife, Mary, and the Heffernan family would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support at the time of his passing and throughout the last year. Special thanks go to our neighbours and friends who gave such wonderful support and comfort during Noel's illness and death. Those who attended the funeral services, including his colleagues in the Irish Defence Forces and his many friends. Those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. Sincere gratitude to the staff of St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin. Special thanks to Fr. Martin Noone and Fr. Joe O'Hanlon for a lovely service, and to Ms. Marie Cruise for the beautiful music. Noel's First Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday April 11, 2010 at 12 noon in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham.
