MILLS, Derek (August 12, 2008) - We, Derek's wife Breda, children and sister Joan, sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with us on Derek's death. We apologise that, due to the extreme weather conditions on the funeral day, we did not get the opportunity to speak to and thank everyone - we now do so most sincerely. We especially wish to thank Fr Paul Byrne, O.M.I., for his very personal ceremony and also Fr Dermot Mills O.M.I. and Fr Gerry Moore (Raheny) for their attendance. We are very indebted to many people for their care of Derek, his G.Ps Dr Gene Curran and Dr John Ball, his consultant Prof. Shane O'Neill and carers Christopher and Teresa. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
