SLOAN (James Noël) (Ret'd Army Comdt) (Dundrum, Dublin and formerly Ballinasloe and Goleen, West Cork) - June 11, 2007 (peacefully), surrounded by his family at the I.C.U. in St Vincent's University Hospital, after a short illness, loving husband of the recently deceased Ita (née Flynn) and father to Dáire, Raymond, Carl, Dervilla and Darina, much loved eldest son of the late Rita and Sam and brother of Muriel, Sam, Sean, P.J., Philomena, Frank and the late Pauline and Raymond. Noël will be greatly missed by his loving daughters, sons, daughters-in-law Rhona and Gry, sons-in-law Jim and Michael, grandchildren Daniel, Hannah, David, Katie, Lucy, Karl, Adam and Sophie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and by his wonderful friends Bríd, Frank, Bernie and Anne, and by his many relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in peace. Removal to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum arriving at 6 o'clock tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. Funeral on Thursday after 11 o'clock Mass to Kilmashogue Cemetery. House private.
