HUGHES (Abbey Street, Ballinrobe) - January 25 2008, peacefully, in his 99th year, William, husband of the late Monica, in the kind and tender care of the staff of Friarsquarter Nursing Home, Ballinrobe; deeply regretted by his loving sons Fr Peter (Columban Fathers), Raymond and Gerard, daughters Valerie (Athlone), Monica (Galway) and Bernadette (Clare), daughters-in-law Imelda and Maria, sons-in-law John, Stevie and Eamon, devoted grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Rest in peace. Funeral Mass today (Tuesday) at 12 Noon at St Mary's Church, Ballinrobe. Burial immediately afterwards in the new cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.
