CARR (Oldtown Demesne, Naas, Co. Kildare, late of Templeogue, Co. Dublin) - October 2, 2009, Ed (Edwin), surrounded by his family, at Naas General Hospital, dearly loved husband of Laura and adored Dad of Daniel, Bethany and Keelan, son of the late Jim; sadly missed by his mother Mary, son-in-law of the late Sylvia, his brothers Jim and David, sisters Ailish and Patricia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, aunts, uncles and a wide circle of family and friends, including his colleagues at Roche Products (Ireland) Ltd. Funeral Service at St David's Church, Naas at 11 o'clock today (Monday), followed by burial afterwards at Maudlins Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas. House strictly private. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Friends of St Luke's Hospital, Highfield Road, Rathgar, Dublin.

<p>Deborah Chambers</p> <p>I only heard today about Ed's death and I am very sorry to hear about it.My brother Alan and I werefriends with him when we were teenagers in Knocklyon and was always very fond of him. I am really very sorry about his passing.</p>

<p>Sincerest Condolences from a former Colleague</p> <p>I would like to say to Ed's family Laura, Daniel, Bethany and Keelan that I was shocked and saddened to see the notice in the paper too late to attend the service. I have fond memeories of working on a project with Ed and subsequently meeting him when he entered the Pharmaceutical Industry where he was happy.
